Program in Finance and Business Analytics is the only English-taught department in the country that teaches finance and international trade. It is also the only department in the country to hire foreign fund managers and domestic and foreign trade association lecturers for full-time teaching. Due to the excellent English proficiency of graduates, they are evenly distributed in finance and international trade-related jobs after graduation. The skills of finance and international trade are interrelated; finance professionals need knowledge of international trade to successfully complete operations such as letter of credit, telegraphic transfer, and issuance of bills of exchange.
In addition to finance and international trade courses, the department arranges systematic information courses, including technical training in big data analysis, cloud computing, web design, and database establishment. Through a series of training, you can establish professional databases, design customized web apps, and significantly expand the breadth and depth of your future career for decades to come.
(1) Double Major in Finance and Trade: A cross-disciplinary double major in finance and trade is offered in English, creating professionalism in accounting and trade. Students' abilities match industry demands, with seventy-five percent of students being employed before graduation.
(2) International Business Management Certification: The department has passed the AACSB International Business Management Certification, with faculty and curriculum surpassing international standards to ensure teaching quality.
(3) English-taught Environment: All courses are taught in English, with students from around the world creating an international learning environment full of diverse cultural debates and impacts.
(4) Foreign Professional Faculty: The department recruits foreign professional faculty who meet AACSB qualifications, providing an international learning environment. In addition to learning professional knowledge, students can learn diverse cultural thinking and gain exposure to business case experiences from different countries and cultural backgrounds through interactions with teachers.
(5) International Study Mechanism: The International College has established international study regulations, encouraging students to utilize sister school relationships for participation in various programs such as short-term summer studies, junior year abroad studies, student exchange programs, dual degree programs, etc., to enhance international perspectives and employment competitiveness.
(6) Industry Internship Mechanism: The department has signed internship cooperation agreements with the financial industry, allowing students to choose internships in the financial or international trade industries to understand workplace ecology and operations, integrating financial theories with practice. Students can also intern at overseas companies for six months.
(7) Comprehensive Information Courses: Building students' skills in proficiently using information, including VBA, R language, SQL, Power BI, Google Apps Script, from basic construction to comprehensive analysis and building enterprise network solutions. This enables flexible handling of diverse problems in their professional careers.
(8) Conducting Trade Employment Programs and Financial Public Welfare Special Classes: Designing workplace alignment for seniors, offering employment programs taught by dozens of industry experts, and connecting with corporate internships.
